  1. AIN'T JUST TEMPORARY
    RELEASED MAY 2007
    on Blind Pig Records

  2.
        (with Bo Diddley)
    7. My Pen
    11. Bow Wow

This is Hamilton's long-awaited second release on Blind Pig.  One highlight of the CD is "You Got To Wait", written by Hamilton and Bo Diddley...the track also features Diddley's unmistakable voice and trademark funky tremolo guitar.  Hamilton teams up with legendary Houston engineer Steve Ames for a dry, organic sound on the CD.  Hamilton also embraces technology, recording much of the disc in his bedroom on his laptop computer.  "I'm really happy with the tones on the CD.  There's no reverb, hardly any compression or EQ -- I even did all the vocals through a Shure SM-57.  'Less is more' was definitely the approach ..."

Known for his tasteful, powerful guitar work, Hamilton is one of the most versatile young artists on the scene -- he features some fierce harmonica on "Slow Lover", "Wait", and "That Thang", and even throws in some flavorful piano & B-3 organ solos on "Good Enough" and "Love Again".  He plays almost all the instruments on the CD, even drums on 6 of the tunes.  And while his prowess is obvious from instrument to instrument, his main focus is always the song.  "This CD isn't a talent show, it's about songs.  I spent a lot of time writing, arranging, and collaborating with a few other wonderful writers on this project.  Even though I covered a lot of ground instrument-wise, I played what I felt would make the song as strong as it could be -- I am a guitarist by trade, but there were times when I felt the song needed a different texture besides guitar.  It was a real challenge for me to play most of the instruments, but it was a blast!"
